Buttermilk Whole Wheat Loaf

Buttermilk Whole Wheat Loaf
Adapted from The Bread Lover’s Bread Machine Cookbook

1 1/2 cups buttermilk
3 tbsp canola oil
2 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
2 cups whole wheat flour (I used white whole wheat)
2 cups bread flour
1 tbsp plus 1 tsp gluten
2 tsp salt
2 1/4 tsp SAF yeast or 2 3/4 bread machine yeast

Place all ingredients in the pan in the order listed.  Set crust on Basic or Whole Wheat cycle, 2 lb. loaf.
